From a background of boat fitting and many years study of woodworking I am experienced in the many unique problems that can occur in furniture and cabinet making. Shrinkage, wear and tear and fitting of items into unusual shaped recesses are all well understood by myself and always taken into consideration.

I have previously worked on furniture for such places as The National Museum of Wales, Merton College, Oxford and Christchurch College, Oxford.

Formal training includes both City and Guilds Certification to Advanced Craft level, with Distinctions throughout, and a BA in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship from Buckinghamshire College, High Wycombe.

From ideas provided by the customer I will design and build any piece of furniture required. Using the best mix of traditional skills and modern machinery I provide a cost effective way of obtaining a unique piece of craftsman made furniture.

All of my work is produced in my own workshop premises located in the rural Vale of White Horse - Kingston Lisle, Oxfordshire, within site of the famous Uffington White Horse. You can rest assured all of my work will please and become a loved treasure.
